Perfect for beginners, Sewing Studio introduces students to essential hand-stitching techniques, the basics of machine sewing, and creative fabric manipulation in a supportive, hands-on environment. Over 4 weeks (8 hours of instruction), students will:
Master fundamental hand and machine stitching skills, including several embroidery techniques.
Complete a take-home project each week, from tote bags to personalized creations and up-cycled designs that turn old materials into something new and stylish.
Explore student-led projects, encouraging imagination, problem-solving, and personal expression.
Benefit from very small class sizes, allowing for individualized instruction and guidance tailored to each student’s pace and style.
Build confidence and develop lifelong sewing skills they can continue at home, whether following patterns or designing their own projects.
