It all started when…

I was in fashion school surrounded by fellow students who wanted to be fashion designers. I quickly realized I had an advantage as a Wall Street trader with a finance and engineering background. This paired with my love for design gave me special insight into balancing creativity with practicality, or in other words, technical skills like math.

I witnessed my classmates struggling with the basics of fashion design and I knew there had to be a better way to help them achieve their dreams. I wanted to show them that there's a connection between math and fashion, and how important it is to understand both. So, I got certified as a sewing teacher and started teaching at schools, helping students understand how the skills they were learning in class applied to the real world.

Years later, I'm still doing what I love, helping new students see the connection between math and fashion. I'm proud of how I can make a difference in their lives and help them achieve their dreams of becoming amazing fashion designers. And it all started with that one moment in class, when I realized my unique perspective could change things for the better.

An engineer, analyst, Wall Street trader. Have and always will be an artist, a creative, and wild thinker.

Hi, I'm Diana! I remember drawing my first fashion sketches in the 7th grade. I had no idea what I was doing other than that it felt good. I enjoyed how I was expressing myself. (Oh, how I wish I still had those sketches with me.) Even though that was my true interest, my upbringing was always encouraging me to be technical, invest my time in my studies especially in math and sciences. And so I did.

I have a diverse background in engineering, finance, and fashion. I hold a technical business degree and have over 15 years of experience in the engineering and finance industries. It wasn’t until I was deep into my Wall Street career where I rediscovered my love for fashion. While working full-time and pregnant with my first child, I found myself attending night school at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. This is where I honed my skills in fashion design.

My unique blend of analytical skills and creativity gives me a fresh perspective on the fashion industry. I'm always pushing the limits and coming up with new, innovative ideas. My goal is to help others reach their full potential and make a big impact as a designer in ANY industry.

I want to use my technical background and creative eye to empower and inspire aspiring designers. I'm here to help, so let's work together to turn your creativity into unforgettable fashion designs!
