Beginner-Friendly Introduction to Sewing & Design

One-day camp to build real skills fast & leave each day with a finished project.

What to Expect

❋ Design Thinking

  • How to turn ideas into real, wearable designs

  • Understanding shape, fabric, and function

  • Making creative decisions with confidence

❋ Sewing & Construction

  • Hand sewing techniques and foundational stitches

  • Understanding construction order and finishing details

  • Building projects step-by-ste

❋ Technical Skills

  • How to safely use a sewing machine

  • Threading and operating a sewing machine

  • Sewing straight seams and handling fabric


Class Dates and Times

Camp runs from June through August. Choose 3-hour sessions offered in a morning (9:00 AM–12:00 PM) or afternoon (1:00–4:00 PM) time slot. Designed for ages 9–14, the program includes all materials and equipment needed.

What They’ll Create (Real Projects)

Your child will complete multiple projects throughout the week:

  • A hand-sewn starter project

  • A functional bag or accessory

  • A wearable garment (skirt or top)
